Today is Uncle Mike's birthday!
I told Tess that she should make him a card. She was pretty excited about it and disappeared into the back room to get to work. After I realized that it was far too quiet for far too long, I went back there to find her finishing her masterpiece portrait of Uncle Mike on her chalkboard.
I reminded her that she can't give the chalkboard to Uncle Mike for his birthday. She was pretty adamant about the fact that she decided to draw it there and that was that. There would be no follow up card. Sorry for your luck, Uncle Mike. But good thing we thought of a good way to improvise...
