Tess is two months old today! At her 7 week appointment (on May 16), she weighed in at 12 lbs, 8 oz and was 23" long. At her 10 week appointment (on June 6), she weighed in at 13 lbs, 9 oz and was 24" long. She is growing like a weed! As you can see, she is developing a personality and definitely has a mind of her own (wonder where she got that from??!).
Since Tess missed Opening Day, she was anxious to get to her first game - especially since she had her outfit ready to go. She was pumped about this particular game since it was a rematch of the 2006 World Series v. St. Louis (which she happily attended in utero). Good thing the Tigers won this time. She kept asking for a hot dog but we had to tell her no. Silly girl. Maybe next time.
Tess is seven weeks old today and growing and changing all the time. It's amazing! She smiles a lot and coos in different ways each day. Yesterday, she weighed in at 12 lbs, 8 oz and is now 23 inches long. 
Tess said that she needed a change of scenery so we packed up the car (and I mean PACKED UP the car) and headed up north to Petoskey for a few nights. Whether it was restful or not, we still aren't sure, but it was good "family time" (although Norman adamantly objects as he was left behind). 
Tess has hit the social circuit! Here are some pictures of Tess and her new BFF, Kadie, at their first play date. Kadie was much more ready to play than Tess. They are going to be their Dads' worst nightmares come age 16 and they want the car keys for a night out! Yikes!
