Our craft project, etc.

Because I am always looking for new and fabulous ways to utilize my spare time, the girls and I decided to do a completely unnecessary craft project last weekend... one that inexplicably left my body sore for days. We took our old white table and chairs (from Ikea) and decided to spice them up a bit as they were starting to look pretty ratty with all of the marker stains on them. We took little fabric pieces and mod-podged them all about. Very easy. And time consuming. And then Dad got the fun job of polyurethaning them.

Student of the Month!

Tess was named the October Student of the Month for Dance City, where she takes hip hop dance class. She was the only winner for the whole studio! (We're guessing that they are just trying to keep our business since we have discontinued our monthly mortgage payments for Nora's class.  Nora's dance career has already come to a screeching halt.)

As the Student of the Month, Tess got a t-shirt, her picture taken and had to give them a quote about what she loves about Dance City.  Per Tess, "I love dancing with Eliana, I love Miss. Marli, and I love making new friends."  OF COURSE we practiced this, thankyouverymuch.
