This is a halloween costume that probably won't make it until the end of October as Tess will be busting out of it pretty soon. (And we have other costumes to get to, but that's beside the point.) So we took some pictures in it now so we could experience all the fun of being a cowgirl. As you can see, Norman was beyond thrilled. YEEEEHHHAAA!
Tess and her Birthday Bear are now six months old. WOW. At her doctor's appointment, she weighed 18 lbs, 14 oz (95th percentile), was 26.5" long (90th percentile) and her head was 45 cm around (95th percentile). She is growing much faster than Mr. Bear who hasn't changed a bit. We keep forgetting to feed that poor guy. 
We conducted a mini photo shoot tonight as the hat is just too cute and is getting snug! Darn that big head! What would have been the better picture would have been Mom and Dad sweating their brains out trying to get Ms. Thing to smile. We should remember to conduct these shoots in the BACK yard so the passers by don't get a show of us looking like crazy people dancing all over the place. We tried but we weren't as interesting as the mesmerizing plant behind her. 
Tess is sitting up pretty good on her own now. She has been able to for a few weeks and is tipping over less and less everyday! 
Tess started swimming lessons at the Y today. She loved it! She looked pretty cute in her halter bathing suit too. Good thing she didn't bring out the bikini as she's the lonely girl in the class and Dad wouldn't have liked all the boys lookin'. Tess is working on toning up her chubby chubby arms and legs before sporting the two piece.
