Boat time
Today we dusted off the old boat and got 'er back on the water for a fun afternoon. Boy, what a difference a year makes when it comes to Nora and the boat. Last year, I have fond memories of her biting my shoulder when it was time for her to put on her life jacket. Today, she was a champ. Hooray for progress.

Kindergarten Round-up
Yesterday, Tess had Kindergarten Round-up. She loved it and took right off when the teachers took the kids by themselves to tour the classrooms. She was upset when we left and we didn't have her uniform, as they were on display when we got there. I explained that that was just for show, we need to buy her own uniforms before school starts. Of course, she wants them now.
It's hard to believe that kindergarten is right around the corner!

We're still here... I promise
I have been hearing that people are worried about us, for fear that we may have fallen off the planet due our lack of updates lately. Oops, sorry! My fault. Will do better.
Because things have been a little crazy, I really haven't taken too many pictures - with the camera - lately. But fortunately, we're never at a loss for iPhone pictures! So here is a little catch-up, iPhone style...
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, especially Meena and Grandma Muriel!

Sprinkle sisters at the Dairy Deluxe
Tess has had what seems like a marathon of birthday parties lately. SO MANY. (Of course, we actively participated in the madness by throwing our own party, but that's how it works, right?) On a separate note, yesterday, out of the blue, Tess said, "Mom, wouldn't you be SO upset if you got a card in the mail and you thought it was an invitation to your friend's birthday party, and when you opened it, all it had in it was some money and no invitation... but just money? That would make me so mad." Um, no.
Avery's birthday rodeo spectacular
Nora's still rocking and rolling with her swim lessons. She's loving every minute.
Tess' ballet season is wrapping up (yippeeee!). Picture day was a few weeks ago. Here is Tess waiting for her turn... she's 5 looking like 15 hear with her luxurious mascara lashes.
Where's Nora?
Tess had a school field trip trip to the farm a few weeks ago. I think this was the only picture I took. Classy.
Sister dress-up time!
I didn't take this one... I found it on my phone. Apparently someone was having a good old time on my phone with the Rapunzel app. She looks to be sitting in a grocery cart, occupying herself just swell.
This is Hoppy. He's like our second pet.
Let's not forget our main man. He's still a stinker.
A few weeks ago, Tess and I took a stroll around downtown Northville. They have a neat thing there where many of the business have their own fairy doors outside, scattered all around. Some are easier to find than others. Tess had a blast trying to find them. We even found a place to buy our own unfinished door for home. So we brought it home, decorated it, and Dad even let us super glue it to the front door. Sweet! Fairies welcome.
Because I was a little completely under the weather this past weekend, I missed out on all the obligatory Mother's Day pictures. Didn't get a-one. But I do have this portrait of me that Tess colored for school last week. Love it!
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, especially Meena and Grandma Muriel!
