We just concluded a a pretty jam-packed weekend... it began with Disney on Ice and ended with the Halloween festivities at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad.
(Actually, it really ended with us coming home to a sick Norman who chose Nora's bedroom rug as the perfect spot to let loose, and me chipping a tooth, not necessarily in that order and certainly not related incidents. Nice. We'll just leave it at that.)
Basically, this weekend it consisted of lots of fun dressing up for two little girls... the first night in their princess get-ups and the second night in their Halloween costumes.*
* And in case you're counting, Tess only has one Halloween costume this year. Nora, on the other hand, has about five. Yes, five. She inherited a few of them from her sister, along with a few newbies. Oh, the choices. Luckily, she has one that would be suitable for about every forecast. Today, we chose one of the warmer options.

Heading to the carousel
No joke, this was the fastest carousel we have ever seen.
Justifiably, she's holding on for dear life.
Cider and donuts... mmmmm.

Tess' camera didn't last long before she ran out of pictures,
so then she grabbed my camera and started clicking...
here are some of the sights of the train ride from Tess' perspective
(literally from her perspective since she shot from the small crack in the window opening of the train).

And last but not least, a new picture for my desk at work.
