HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TESS!

Wow! Tess is one today. What a crazy idea. It hardly seems possible that she was born one year ago today. Oh, what fun we've had! She is working on getting her upper teeth and now says, "uh-oh!" She also says, "ma-ma" and "da-da" and is getting better at waving goodbye.

One year old!

So here is the last of the birthday bear pictures for now. We'll do them again at 15 months, 18 months, etc... but not every month.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Tess is enjoying her first St. Patrick's Day. She went downtown Detroit yesterday and participated in the festivities (even though she slept through most of it). Mom and Dad ran in the race and Tess walked in the race with Grandma Geraldine. Tess was snug as a bug in a rug as she was ALL bundled up!

Tess goes to Florida!

Tess had a great trip to Florida last weekend. Unfortunately, the night before we left, she took a BIG spill and it left a pretty good sized mark on her head. Mom and Dad were devastated, but Tess was just fine, although she was a little concerned about having her picture taken so often in Florida given the unsightly contusion on her head. We assured her that she was still as cute as a button. She agreed.

Tess had a ball playing in the pool, going to Disney (meeting Mickey was another story as you will see below) and going to a Tiger game. And she was NOT happy about putting her winter coat back on when we got to the airport in Detroit. She kept asking why we choose to live in this godforsaken climate. We were unable to come up with an answer she would accept.

Here are some fun pictures from the trip:

As a punishment, we made her get her picture taken with that scary mouse
