A jam-packed Saturday
Yesterday, Will and Ellie came to visit... along with their personal assistants and chauffeurs, Nikki and Aunt Jane. The girls loved seeing them, especially since it looked like Christmas when they arrived with all of the goodies and gifts. I told them they should come visit daily.
Later last night, took our annual trip to Greenfield Village for the Hallowe'en Nights. The girls got all decked out in the their costumes.

We have Rapunzel...
And Wonder Woman.
Seriously, this may be my all-time favorite to date.
Somewhere along the way, Nora sort of fell into character. It may have been right around this moment where Tess dared to get too close and Nora had to throw the "no, no, no" her way.
Then came the stance. Do you see how she looks like she is ready to spar here? Rapunzel was never so lucky to have such a spunky bodyguard.
Then she started this thing where she would aggressively lean over and clap, as to warn everyone to stay back.
And THEN, by the end of the night, she finally let me put on the headband. The transformation was complete. Lynda Carter, watch out.

Disney on Ice
We went to see Disney on Ice on Wednesday. We purposely didn't tell Tess until only a few days before as she tends to get really hyped up. She had fun counting down the three or so days until it was time to go. "Mom, only three more sleeps until Disney on Ice!" What really surprised me though, was how into it Nora was. She was riveted and was so excited each time "Mee-Mo" (Mickey Mouse) and "Don Duck" (Donald Duck) came out onto the ice.
Here is a video of Nora showing off her dress (if you only saw the fight we had trying to get it on her...)
Ariel and Minnie
Your guess is as good as mine.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!
Happy Birthday to Daddy! We had a little party for him and instead of cake, we indulged in Cinnabon cinnamon rolls. So good!
Dad and his girls... one that's happy and one that's not so happy
Maybe she just wanted Dad to herself?
Or, maybe not.
We love Daddy!

Tess' first field trip
Tess had her first official school field trip on Monday. Her preschool class went to Blake's Orchard in Armada and had so much fun picking apples, picking pumpkins, eating donuts, drinking cider, and enjoying all of the fun activities that they had there. But likely, if you ask her about it, she'll tell you ALL about how she got a microscopic cut on her finger when running through the corn maze - an event only took up about two minutes of the three hours or so that we spent there. Anytime you can score a band-aid from the first aid kit at the apple orchard, it's newsworthy.
