Tess was reunited with her best bud, Kadie, last weekend for some camping fun at Bruin Lake in Pinckney. (It was exactly one year ago this weekend that Tess went camping for the first time at the same place!) Both Nora and Kadie's sister, Charlie, stayed behind at home so not to be eaten alive by the mosquitoes and aggressive raccoons.
The girls had quite a fun time playing together in their princess tent (actually make that all of the tents), in the lake, on the inflatable moonwalk that was Kadie's parents' air mattress, with their 28 bottles of bubbles and on their MANY trips to the potty. I am quite certain we wore a path from our campsite to the potty as it seems as if that was all we did for three days straight. We must have managed to stray off the path, however, given the poison ivy that lingers all over my feet (and Damon's). What a fun souvenir. Luckily, the girls seem to have dodged it.
