Tess the Stinkpot wouldn't go to sleep during her naptime today. I put her in bed and the entire time she was up there (well over an hour), she yelled different things to me to entice me to come rescue her. In a nutshell, it went something like this...
Tess: "Mommy, I am still hungry!"
Me: silence
Tess: "Mommy, I am too hot!"
Me: silence
Tess: "Mommy, I can't find my puppy!"
Me: silence
Tess: "Mommy, I can't find my baby!"
Me: silence
Tess: "Mommy, I want to listen to my Tinkerbell music!"
Me: silence
Tess: "Mommy, I have something to tell you! Come here!"
Me: silence
Tess: "Mommy, I have your birthday cake and birthday candles!"
Wait. Did she say cake??! Nice try, Miss. Smartypants. You almost got my attention.
